Make Me Divine is a short about beauty standards in the Black-American community and how they are detrimental to young Black girls. Make Me Divine follows the personal narrative of the writer, Bobbi Broome. Bobbi Broome uses this film to provide a voice to those who are also able to relate. Make Me Divine won the award for “Best Writing” at the Kent State Film Festival in May 2019.
